To maintain your Specialty Certified Medical Assistant-SCMA® certification you must pay an annual recertification fee of $58 and earn approved continuing education units (CEUs). To ensure that SCMA® professionals stay current with the advancement of medicine, we require 12 CEUs every two years. In order to receive credit you must submit documentation by clicking the button below. In the event that the 12 CEUs are not met, the certification will become invalid. To become recertified, and keep the credentials, you must retake the certification exam.
